Basic Information about Hot Springs
The hot spring for our guests and the Dondoko Yu both feature a "sulfate spring" mineral composition. Sulfate springs are one of the three major "beauty springs" in Japan, along with sulfur springs and bicarbonate springs. Known as the" Beauty Bath "the spring contains rich minerals such as calcium, sodium, Its benefits not only help with fatigue recovery but also improve skin elasticity and hydration, contributing to anti-aging and skin regeneration. Dondoko Yu
Please enjoy two distinct hot springs to your heart's content. Hinoyama Onsen "Don-doko-yu" is a bathing facility located alongside Aso Baien. The site boasts one of the largest areas in Western Japan, with 12 bathing tubs and a sauna that can accommodate up to 30 people for both men and women. The highlight is the garden-style open-air bath designed to reflect the nature of Aso, where you can enjoy the rare greenish-white cloudy hot spring water, unique to Aso.
